Captain Ron's Room (upstairs)- This crusty, yet lovable sea captain bought the house from the Solomon’s around 2002, and we purchased the house from him in 2005. Dore’ lived in St. Augustine but loved to come out to Palatka on the weekends with his favorite book and brew to relax and kick back. Always seeking a new adventure, whether it was through reading or travel, it seems fitting that we should name the upstairs relaxation and reading lounge after our friend, Ron.
