Solomon Room

This room is named after the Solomon’s.  In 1990, they purchased the house for $1.00 to save it from demolition and had it moved to its current location by barge.  Awaken to brilliant views of the St. Johns River from this quaint room, graced by an antique full-sized bedroom suite, complete with an old-timey dressing table. Enjoy a wood burning fireplace. A sumptuous adjoining updated bath provides a luxurious soak whenever the mood strikes.  We feel this room is fully as unique as its benefactors, Dr. Bob and Freda Solomon. It is only fitting that their room and bathroom should overlook the very river that they floated the house down. All of our rooms have full access to all public rooms, porches, swings, decks, dock and of course, the lovely St. Johns River waterfront.
