A historic luxury waterfront escape situated directly on the St. Johns River, possibly the most famous largemouth bass fishing center in the World.    Visitors have full access to our private 260' canal for safe harboring of their pleasure yacht or fishing vessel. This is a great place to stay for fishing tournaments in this area, as there is no need to take your boat in and out each day. Surrounded by picturesque orange groves, tropical hibiscus and mature moss-laden trees, this waterfront home is an oasis of delight for nature lovers, yachtsmen and serious fishermen with a love of history and a taste for elegance. Lush surroundings include numerous outside seating areas and decks, extensive landscaping, rock fountain and even a koi pond.

The Reid House has both the grace and elegance of an era gone by. This magnificent estate home boasts a beautiful and meticulous restoration featuring period details restored to their original condition. Venetian plaster enhances the original lathe and plaster walls, period glass panes adorn sash windows and the gorgeous heart of pine flooring lends a feeling of warmth and comfort to any traveler. All rooms have been beautifully updated for your pleasure.  Queen sized beds, cable TV, wood-burning fireplaces, en-suite bathrooms, soft fluffy towels- all the amenities of home. Welcome cocktails and appetizers greet you upon your arrival, and homemade goodies see you on your way in the morning.

Two of the guest rooms in the main house are currently available for rent on a daily, weekly or even a monthly basis. Sorry, no smoking or pets.

We are not set up to accept little ones at this time and cater to adults only. We are new to the rental business, so we try harder to earn your business and repeat stays.
